Bespoke All Glass Sport Display Case

Our bespoke all-glass display case – The perfect way to showcase your prized sports memorabilia and products in a sleek and stylish way. Crafted from high-quality glass, this display case offers a clear and unobstructed view of your products from every angle. The all-glass design ensures that nothing detracts from the beauty and importance of the item on display, while the durable construction provides peace of mind that your collection of memorabilia and products is safe and secure.

The first thing for you to decide on your glass sneeze counter is the required size. (All of our measurements are in millimetres).

We have several pre-configured sizes for you to choose from, as well as our bespoke products, should you need the display quicker!

Width - (W) - Is how wide the unit is when viewed from the front.

Depth - (D) - Is how far the unit extends back when viewed from the side.

Height - (H) - Is the unit height when viewed from the front.

If the width of your unit is 1800mm or greater, you will need a stainless-steel or glass panel support to ensure the width is supported. We will contact you to arrange this addition or for the top panel to be 12mm thick glass instead of 10mm, depending on the height and depth of your unit.

Glass polished edges refer to a type of finish that is applied to the edge of the glass surface, which creates a smooth, even, and shiny surface. The process of polishing the edge of the glass is typically done to improve the appearance and safety of the glass, as well as prevent the glass from chipping or breaking. Also, polishing is needed for our UV bonding to be sure there is a seamless bond between the glass, so this is necessary for our glass display cabinets for model railway and train storage.

A glass base is traditionally used in display cases because it creates a clean, uninterrupted view of items inside. Unlike solid bases, glass allows light to pass through the case, helping to illuminate motorsport memorabilia and collectables from multiple angles. This helps highlight the details of items such as model cars, helmets, trophies, or signed memorabilia while keeping the display feeling light and open.

The transparent base can also create the impression that your items are almost "floating", giving the display a premium, showroom or museum-style presentation that puts the focus firmly on the collectable itself.

If you would prefer the base to be opaque while still maintaining a seamless glass finish, we also offer sandblasted or painted finishes for the glass base.

If you wish to proceed without a glass base, we have the following options available:

Customer to Silicone fit

Plain glass suitable for sealing down to your surface using a clear adhesive product or for locating into a prepared channel.

Clear VHB Tape

A clear High Bond Adhesive (VHB) tape is applied to the glass in our factory, suitable for securing the glass permanently and also isolating it from hard surfaces such as stone, stainless steel, etc.

Discreet Rubber Foot

A discreet rubber foot which is fitted to the glass in our factory using an adhesive plastic extrusion. Suitable where you need to be able to re-position the glass unit or remove it for deep cleaning. Also isolates the unit from hard surfaces such as stone and stainless steel.

Aluminium Channel

An anodised aluminium channel cut to size in our factory and supplied loose for you to fit to your counter top. Suitable where you need the glass unit to be permanently fixed. Also isolates the unit from hard surfaces such as stone and stainless steel.

You can choose to add shelves to your unit, which will be permanently UV-bonded in at the time of manufacture.

Deep Shelves are 45mm shorter than the cabinet's depth as standard.

Shallow Shelves are half the internal depth of the cabinet.

Shelf Spacing - You can specify the height of the shelves you add.

The first shelf space will be the distance between the underside of the top panel and the top of the shelf.

The second shelf space will be the distance between the underside of the first shelf and the top of the second shelf, etc... Remember that each shelf takes up 10mm in height, and so does the top panel. So a 410 mm high counter with one shelf will have only 390mm of usable space inside. A central shelf would give you the following layout:

10mm thick top panel

195mm usable space

10mm thick shelf

195mm usable space

Existing worktop

Our handy visual display shows what your display case will look like.

You can choose to add the option of commercial-grade LED lighting installed in your counter here at our factory.

A choice of cool or warm white commercial-grade LED lighting with a diffused (no hot spots), evenly dispersed light fall.

Mounted in a slimline aluminium channel, we use a micro tape and channel so that it is unobtrusive when viewed from outside by your customers.

Lighting inside the counter brings your products clearly into view and minimises external reflections that distort or restrict your customers' view of what you have to offer.

Customers are drawn to the products inside as they are highlighted within the surroundings and can invite more sales.

All of our fast delivery counters are manufactured using 10 mm-thick glass.

All of our glass is toughened, so breakages are unlikely to occur.

This section can at times be a little daunting, as a lot of people don’t know the difference between the glass types. Allow us to explain, so you can choose the best option for your glass display case.

All our glass is toughened, so breakages are unlikely to occur. The difference between glass types is largely cosmetic. Standard toughened glass has a faint green tint, which is largely noticeable unless you attempt to colour the glass. In this case, the green tint will slightly alter the colour you apply to the glass. If colour is a concern for you and you feel the accuracy of colour is important for your glass display cabinet, then we would recommend you choose Low-iron glass, which is specially formulated to remove the green tint and allows for a truer application of colour.

All of our counters are packed suitably for their method of delivery. On our own vehicle, the glass has an anti-scratch film attached, and the edges are protected with impact-absorbing foam. If being delivered by courier, they are packed in the same way but are additionally boxed or strapped to a wooden pallet. On some occasions, you may notice that the foam edge protection has been re-used - this is to allow us to cut down on our environmental impact and in no way compromises the safety of the units' transport.

This section allows you to include any information you feel is relevant. Please note that while we will always do our best to accommodate your requests, this will not always be possible. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us or visit our knowledge page.
